How do you feel when you wake up on your best day?
You probably feel excited to start the day. Your space is probably clean with your clothes and toys put away. You probably feel in control of your emotions. Maybe, you probably feel like your body is ready for the day.
This is what we work towards when we focus on our health. It doesn’t mean that you will always have your best day. It is okay not to be okay. This is why we practice healthy habits to help us with days when we don’t feel our best.
When you think about how you feel on your best day, notice that it is not just about how your body feels but how all of you feel. To be healthy, you must make sure that you are taking care of all of you! This means that you should pay attention to your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual health. You can do this through wellness or taking time each day to practice habits that keep you healthy in all parts of your life.

This is why it is important to know how we are feeling and learn better ways to deal with our emotions.

We can reflect through mindfulness activities, or we can grow our connections by learning about our culture or spending time in our communities.

- Play a game with a friend or your family
- Talk to your friends/family over the phone or on zoom
- Play with a pet
To be intellectually healthy means that you are taking care of your brain! Your brain loves to learn new things. It is important to take care of your brain by learning new things because every time you learn something new your brain gets stronger! The more you challenge your brain, the stronger it will be, and this is all a part of staying well!
