This will help you as you grow,

and with whatever life throws!

Taking care of you can look like playing a game,

Every day, it does not have to look the same.

There are many things you can do,

To take care of you!

It can be going for a walk,

Calling a loved one for a talk.

It could be colouring or making some art,

The important thing is to start!

Maybe it is running around with some friends,

Or reading a book to the very end.

It could be taking a break,

Perhaps it is finding a new project to make.

Taking care of you is also eating a healthy meal,

This can help improve how you feel!

Taking time for you,

Is something everyone should do!

It can help you feel happy and glad,

And even help you feel better when you are mad.

Find things that work for you,

It could be something old or brand new!
